Eligibility Criteria:

• Be in grades 9 through 12 at the start of the program, Jul 15, 2024

Program Details:

​

• The camp is designed to provide hands-on learning experiences for students interested in exploring innovation, technology and entrepreneurship

• Duration: 2 weeks

• Location:  Silicon Valley, California

• Immersive experience in innovation and entrepreneurship with a focus on technology

• Hands-on workshops, project-based learning, and mentorship opportunities

• Networking with industry professionals and entrepreneurs

• Skill-building sessions in areas such as design thinking, storytelling, and pitch development

• Opportunities to showcase final projects and pitch ideas to industry experts

Tuition and Room and Board:

​

The Innovation Winter Camp will take place at San Jose University (Silicon Valley) and has a

total cost of $6,890. This fee covers the following components:

​

1. Students will be comfortably accommodated in the dormitories at San Jose University. Each room, designated for two same-gender students;

2. Meals: Daily breakfast, lunch and dinner. Off-Campus Student Meal Plan: $14 prepaid cards for each meal, covering both lunch and dinner;

3. Education: Access to all academic sessions, workshops, facilities, and materials. This also includes interaction with expert instructors and any special activities planned during the camp.

4. Limited scholarships are available based on financial need. If you need financial assistance to pay for your application, please let us know in the form bellow.

Please Note: Participants may incur extra expenses like additional meals, event tickets, or optional activities.

It is important for participants and their families to carefully review all information provided by the camp to understand the full fee structure and what is included. They should also consider these additional expenses when making their budget for the summer camp.

Additional Information:

​

• Complete and submit the online application, including a 400-word essay written by you.

• Select a teacher, professor, or mentor who can provide insight into your accomplishments, maturity level, and character. Request a letter of recommendation from them to be sent to admissions@nextyacademy.com after you have submitted your application;

• If your first language is not English or if you have not received your education primarily in English, you may be asked to provide evidence of your English proficiency;

• You will be notified of your acceptance into the program by email within a week after we receive the recommendation letter. The notification will be sent to the email address provided during online registration. Be sure to use an email address that you check frequently;

• Once accepted, you must pay a non-refundable deposit of $600 to secure your spot. The payment link will be sent via email.

Cancellation and Refunds:

​

• All cancellation requests must be made in writing and sent to admissions@nextyacademy.com

• The initial $600 deposit is non-refundable.

• Any tuition paid to Nexty Academy will be refunded if processed 30 days before the beginning of the Innovation Camp.

• Nexty Academy will not refund tuition, accommodation or any other fees to students dismissed from the program due to violation of the code of conduct or immigration/visa issues.

Due to COVID-19 every participant will need to be fully vaccinated and boosted (If Applicable) at least two weeks prior to their arrival date.
